Hand dyed galaxy style play silk in a variety of colors and two size options, hand painted with 9 lunar moon phases. Each color you choose will be made up of multiple variations of that color, some being darker and some lighter with black included.

Handmade by me with non-toxic dyes and resist. Made of 100% Habotai China silk. Hand-rolled hem on all sides. 17" x 17" size is a heavier 10mm weight and takes dye darker. Some moon phases may appear off color of yellow due to the components of the base dye color.

The moon cycles in this order: new moon and full moon, first quarter and third quarter, and the phases in between. I have represented 9 phases in these banners.

Washing Instructions
These are dyed with colorfast dyes so the color should not run, but are best washed in cool water with a mild detergent by hand and dried flat or hung. If silk is hand-painted, iron on reverse side only.

Shrinkage
Please note that the size described is an industry defined size prior to processing. As such, the approximate finished size can possibly be smaller after dyeing. 8mm Habotai silk shrinks approximated 10% in length and 2% in width and 10mm Habotai silk (17"x17" size) shrinks approximately 3% in length and 1% in width

Disclaimer(s)
There will be slight variations between dye jobs and possibly imperfections as these are done one at a time by hand. The images are a great representation of what it will look like, but each one is unique! Please see my shop policies on issues with imperfections and exchanges.

I use non-toxic dyes which all conform to ASTM 4236 labeling standards for non-toxic materials.
